Rent, a modern show with significant public commentary was made special with the appearance of an iconic New Zealand entertainer, Annie Crummer, who played the role of Joanne Jefferson. Taking the lead role of Mark for the production was Kristian Lavercombe. Kristian has gone on to a stellar professional career worldwide with the stage show Rocky Horror. The production also included the amazing local talent of Michael Murphy, Rebecca Wright, Tama Waipara, Clayton Curnow, Cameron Clayton and Melissa Nordhaus.
