Anything Goes a high-energy musical
Anything Goes is a polished, professional and flirtatious romp through Cole Porter’s classic musical ... A sparkling, high-energy performance that celebrates excess, luxury and the frivolities of cruise liner life, Anything Goes is a delightful show not to be missed. |

When reviewing shows, anything goes...
Anything Goes is a great musical, and this is a great production of it. With its mix of romance, laughs and music, it’s a ship I recommend boarding! |

REVIEW: Anything Goes
I got to check out the opening night of Anything Goes at the fabulous Civic Theatre, on the “blue carpet”, which was in support of Blue September and Anything Goes star Ray Woolfe - raising awareness for prostate cancer. I digress - it’s a show I didn’t know a lot about but of course as soon as they started playing - I’m there and I knew all the songs! With the very impressive live band playing away (just like the titanic - without the sinking) on the top deck of the ship to set the scene. |

Theatre Review:
Anything Goes at Civic Theatre
Cole Porter's smart-to-be-silly, witty-and-warm songs are so exceptional that they could pull this 1934 hit musical comedy through by themselves. But Auckland Music Theatre isn't pulling back; instead, it layers other treats on top of Porter's fantastic musical anchor to create a tremendous night out, with brilliant casting and huge song-and-dance numbers. |

ESCAPIST STUFF WHERE, AS WITH WALL STREET, ANYTHING GOES
Juliet asks this of Romeo and replies to her own question that it doesn't really matter what something is called, it will still be what it is. She clearly hadn't experienced Cole Porter's Anything Goes because if she had, she'd have realised that sometimes names can tell us exactly what we're in for because in Porter's Anything Goes well … anything goes. |
